Cerita pendek seluar pendek…

Had my buka puasa at Alexis, Great Eastern Mall yesterday with Ku Hafiz, who called and ‘hint-hint’ ajak makan. Ajak jerlah, tak payahlah nak berbalas pantun. Nanti gue jadi Baba Kim Tek, gesek biola berdondang sayang nanti baru lu tau.. Mana itu Ta Chee?... "Tanjung munga manyak munga... dengar yer.. sekejapan gue masuk mood nyanyi dondang sayang... manyak kamsia lah"

Anyway Ku Hafiz is great company. Baik orangnya. Orang Kedah norrr.

We wanted to eat at Cozy House earlier but since Nadia and the ex-BBGS group dah bolot banyak tables for some sort of reunion (oh btw…Erra and Yusri pun ada kat situ..eloklah tu hidup kena berbaik-baik – gua lagi hebat from the Melodi crew, boleh hidu kat mana celebrities beb…), so we went to Alexis instead, since Alexis has the best Vietnamese beef noodles.

Tengah-tengah makan, in came KDYTM Tengku Mahkota Pahang… Tersedak sekejap when he and his entourage passed by and said “Amboi, Suhaimi, pakai seluar pendek nampak buka puasa…” And I terus sembah hormat sambil tersenyum dan letak magazine National Geographic yang kecik tu nak tutup kaki yang sparsely berbulu.

I have interviewed The Tengku Mahkota on live television when I was the anchor in TV3 and KDYTM Tengku is a genuinely nice and well read prince with a good sense of humour.

After dinner, we went to have coffee at Starbucks and jumpa balik Nadia and Ian and sama-sama minum coffee semi-Alfresco.

And masa kat Alexis, jumpa jugak my ex-colleague and friend, the beautiful Aziah Jasmin. Sejak kahwin ni bertambah cantik. Yerlah..dah ada salon sendiri. Tak sempat nak borak panjang sebab masa tu dah nak buka puasa.

Hari ni rasa macam nak makan hati ayam masak kari and beancurd masak pedas kat Devi’s Taman Tun. Siapa nak join?
