Rejuvenate at Sungai Klah

On the way back from a training session in Tronoh, yesterday, Razin and I decided to plunge into the hot spring to remove the ‘stressors’ from our system.

We stopped by for about an hour to enjoy the beautifully landscaped “Taman Rekreasi Air Panas Klah”.

Where is it? Midway between Tanjung Malim and Tapah. Take the Trolak exit and drive through an old oil palm plantation. The local Felda settlers will help you if you can't find it.

I must say Felda did a very good job at landscaping and maintaining the resort.

Razin and I, yes, since we both don’t have Mr Universe punya otot-otot and body, we paid RM25/hr for the hot spring jacuzzi package – you’ll get your own ‘rejuvenation area’ – with no eyes kepoceeing and no cameras clicking (macamlah...).

And there’s an interesting sign board outside the resort.

“Tidak dibenarkan membawa makanan, minuman dan telur”

And I wondered -- telur?

Well... It’s because they want you to purchase the telur provided by the resort -- coz there is a hot spring that is hot enough to boil eggs...

Ingatkan telur apa lak... kalau telur tu, half of the population tak leh masuk -- Ini joke orang dewasa ok, dan tak masuk category Ops Lalang punya... takder unsur-unsur menghasut.

BTW I will be going to Solo, Indonesia on Tuesday for the much needed dosage of culture and history. Want to see Kraton Surakarta and Kraton Mangkunegara.
