PUASA DAN NAFSU

It’s the first day of puasa and I lost to nafsu.

Yes, we ordered too much food for buka puasa.

At 5:30 pm, we still couldn’t decide where to buka puasa. Suddenly Jef said, “…let us go to The Gardens…”

I said “Yes, your favourite Thai Restaurant…”.







And before you can say @#$%^&, the table dah penuh dengan Deep Fried Fish with Special Thai sauce, River Prawns with Tamarind Sauce, Pandan Chicken , Tom Yam Kung, Spring Rolls and White Rice. Oh yes, also add ice blended coconut and Thai ice tea to the list.
And after that we had cendol.

Kami tewas pada nafsu… oh tidak…





Tomorrow, I will go slow on food… mengalahkan nafsu

Before berbuka, we did our regular ‘stocking-up’ on reading materials at Borders.

In addition to the fancy car magazines, Jef has now started reading management, motivation and leadership books. He bought Ken Blanchard’s “The Heart of a Leader”. And he will summarize the content for me within a week. So I tak yah baca… Welcome to “Knowledge Management”.

I bought the following books (in addition to the regular – The Economist and Off The Edge) after recommendation and good reviews from friends.
