ESSENTIALS: DESIGN – INNOVATE, DIFFERENTIATE AND COMMUNICATE

At the moment, I am reading ESSENTIALS: DESIGN – INNOVATE, DIFFERENTIATE AND COMMUNICATE by Tom Peters.

It’s compact, 159 pages and size dia setengah of a novel, 4 inches x 7.5 inches – senang nak bawa masa makan roti canai kat kedai mamak. Kat MPH harga dia RM54.

I would recommend you to read it because it will not only help us package the products and services that we sell but also how we sell ourselves.

It is about how to create a whole new experience for your customers and turn what you provide into an experience.

There is also a discussion about why design is the number one determinant of whether a product or service stands out – or doesn’t.

You also get to learn how we are designers at heart and understand why branding is about nothing more, or less, than heart – what is your organisation, why it is here and how it is unique.

It is a fun colourful book with lots of nice pictures. I highly recommend it for people in communications and people of all backgrounds and specializations too.
